About the Band!
Downshift is a Rock/Rock ‘n Roll/Rock ‘n Pop Semi-Acoustic Duo as well as a full 4 or 5 piece Electric Cover Band playing hits from the 50’s all the way through to the 10’s!
Chris Newcombe and Andrew Shaw having been performing together since 2009 and form the Semi-Acoustic Duo. The full electric band expands to a 4 piece to include bass guitar and drums. On request it can be expanded to a 5 piece which also includes keyboards.
Downshift have performed for a variety of audiences and special events including Weddings, Birthdays, Festivals and Charity Functions all around parts of England.
